the peace of winter is here...quietude blankets the pale skies, as the sun silently, almost secretly, fades in the west, delicate golden and silver in its gentle splendor. as the horizon sets in cosmic motion, stripes of white and wisps of lavender band across in soft sedimentary illusion.
when the air is still and my ears have only silence to rest against, my heart finds its path and is drawn to our Heavenly Father, without clutter of senseless continuous noise that so occupies the menagerie humanity tirelessly brings upon itself.
cool, clean, soothing crystalline snow glows mysteriously as night appears, and the hush and stillness of winter's embrace soothes the soul, calms the mind, as the mother of pearl moon dances and laughs with the chorus of clouds, until dawn awakens the world to yet another day. set sail and dream your dreams into reality.
